Robin and Mariel Padilla talked about their finances

Celebrity couple Robin and Mariel Padilla shared how they are handling their finances in a recent vlog of the latter.

One of the topics that the couple talked about was the rumor that Robin is set to run for Senator in the 2022 elections. However, he denied this and said that he will not enter politics.

On the other hand, he said that many people expressed that they want him to run. “Ang nangyari naman ngayong darating na 2022, kinonsider ko ‘yan alam mo ‘yan nu’ng nag-usap tayo, gusto ko nga sa Bikol,” Robin shared.

Then, he said that he dismissed this possibility because he was thinking about the money that he will spend for his candidacy, based on the article in Bandera.

“Kasi ang nasa isip ko 10 million o 20 million (magagastos), siguro kaya naman kitang utangan no’n?  Kasi meron ka namang naitago, eh.  Hindi naman ako naniniwala na ginastos mo lahat (sa pagsa-shopping) sa bag,” Robin Padilla said referring to his wife Mariel Padilla.

Then, the TV host-vlogger said that she wants to clarify things. She said that she spends the money from her own earnings and Robin also does the same. Mariel also said that her husband is the one paying for their household expenses.

“Pero ‘yung mga luho ko, mga damit na binibili kong mamahalin para sa mga anak ko basta anything luxury, anything out of the necessity sa akin ‘yun galling,” she clarified. She stressed that the notion of other people that she is spending the money of his husband is not true. Robin seconded the statement of his wife. “Masipag po ako!” Mariel Padilla added.
