COVID-19 VACCINE – These popular celebrities spoke about having the COVID-19 vaccine and encouraged the public to also do it.

Last March, the rolling out of vaccine has already started and the giving out of jabs and dose is based on a priority list. Guidelines and prioritized groups have been released and the first on the list are frontline workers in health facilities both national and local including private and public, health professionals and non-professionals like students, nursing aides, janitors, barangay health workers, and others.

Some local areas are now on their A4 category frontline personnel in essential sectors fall under. In A2 and A3 categories are where senior citizens aged 60 years old and above and persons with comorbidities are categorized, respectively. While a portion in the country remained hesitant to have a jab, celebrities did something to show people and encouraged them. If they, celebrities can do, others can also do it.

Famous celebrities came together to encourage people to have themselves vaccinated and take a step closer to ending the health situation of the world. Joross Gamboa, Joko Diaz, Jerome Ponce, Candy Pangilinan, and JM De Guzman have already received a jab. Kris Aquino also received her first dose already.

Married couples Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez, and Marco Alcaraz and Lara Quigaman have all had their vaccine. MMDA Chairman Benhur Abalos said as per the report from Rappler that around 300,000 people from the local film industry including the producers, cinemas, theater employees, ticket sellers, and others were directly affected by the pandemic.
