Is everything fine between Sharon Cuneta and her eldest KC Concepcion?
SHARON CUNETA – Megastar Sharon Cuneta speaks about being blamed on strained relationship with her eldest, KC Concepcion.
What always is a controversy and have been intriguing most of the time is the relationship of Megastar Sharon Cuneta to her eldest daughter KC Concepcion. KC is her only child with first husband Gabby Concepcion and their strained relationship is always something that catches many attention.
To recall, KC once expressed in an interview her feeling of being an outcast as both of her parents now have their own families. She has this feeling of being not a member to any of them and has this complex of making her parents proud since she’s the only one they got. She is close to her half-siblings but her relationship with her mother has always been controversial.
And with this, some netizens intruded to such family matters and told the Megastar to do something to her eldest being KC is known to be much closer to her grandmother she fondly calls Mamita. Since she’s “laking lola”, people assumed that this could be the reason behind strained relationship with her mother.
As for Sharon, she knows how great of a help her Mommy Elaine was in raising KC but what she couldn’t understand is why people tend to forget that she’s also done something good for her eldest. In her response, she stated:
“Malaki ang naitulong ni Mama sa pagpapalaki ko sa kanya, pero kahit nagtatrabaho ako, napakarami ko din namang sinakripisyo maging health at tulog para sa kanya at para makasama siya. All her manners, etc.”
“I used to date her at the most expensive and formal restaurants since she turned 6 or 7 para matuto.”
“I taught her everything I knew then. I NEVER missed any school programs or activities kahit na nagpapaalam ako sa trabaho at umaga na umuuwi kaya siguro naman may value din yon kahit paano.”
The netizen compared her relationship to her daughter to Judy Ann Santos’ treatment to Yohan. It’s not a secret to the public that Yohan is Juday’s adopted but everyone can see how much she cherish her eldest and loved her like her own.
It also added that they should do some counseling to fix their relationship. The netizen questioned why does KC have to feel she’s out of place and here’s the response of Sharon to this:
