Here’s what Willie Revillame said about critical comments against Miss Manila.
WILLIE REVILLAME – “Wowowin” host Willie Revillame mediates bashing against Miss Manila following issue with “Hipon Girl” Herlene Budol.
In what supposed to be an exchange of funny banters, people found the statements of Miss Manila Alexandra Abdon to be rude and offensive. It earned critical comments which are speculated to prompt her decision to private her social media accounts.
Herlene Budol also known as Hipon Girl is one of the co-hosts of Wowowin mainly hosted by Willie Revillame. Hipon and Miss Manila confronted each other in front of the male host on national television. In the showdown, they must prove as to who is the better one.
However, in her argument, Miss Manila stressed Herlene as being “squammy” and from the “iskwater”. According to Revillame, Hipon Girl took it personally and got offended in reality but he clarified that the two are now on good terms.
He already talked to Hipon and added, “Sineryoso talaga iyon ni Hipon, medyo napikon talaga si Hipon. Pinagsabihan ko siya, siguro nasaktan siya.”
He mediated between them and plead the public to stop with the bashing and critical comments against the beauty pageant contestant. In social media, Miss Manila already clarified that it was all a part of the script and she’s just doing her job.
In his program, on the other hand, Willie clarified, “Ganun lang ho naman. Nagkakabiruan sila pero ang akala… kawawa naman si Miss Manila, huwag niyo naman i-bash. Sa totoo lang, mabait na bata, e. Kumakain kami, tahimik siya.”
