PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Friday (April 30)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the easterlies would bring cloudy and rainy conditions over some parts of the country.

On Friday (April 30, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The easterlies would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

The easterlies would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers ver the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Aurora, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Abra, and Benguet.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms over the entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.

Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country are expected to experience a fair weather condition except from isolated rains due to the easterlies.

The weather agency warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the Northern Luzon, Aurora province, Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
