Hong Kong Bound Flights from Philippines Temporarily Suspended

HONG KONG – Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the country temporarily suspends flights from three (3) countries including the Philippines.

Many countries across the globe faced another surge in the cases of COVID-19. This coronavirus disease is the biggest challenge that many healthcare systems are currently facing. Philippines is one of the nations that recorded cases of the said disease.

It’s been more than a year now since the first case of COVID-19 was recorded in the Philippines. In the fight to stop the spread of the disease, community quarantine measures are implemented in the country.

Previously, the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) which is the strictest among the four (4) community quarantine measures was once again imposed in the whole National Capital Region (NCR) and its four nearby provinces – Laguna, Cavite, Rizal, and Bulacan. It followed the spike in the case of COVID-19 in the country.
