Inigo Pascual made this revelation about Rico Blanco and Maris Racal
Rumors linking Rico Blanco and Maris Racal circulated just recently, and the latter’s former loveteam partner Inigo Pascual was asked about the rumored couple.
Maris and Inigo did several projects together and they are known together as the MarNigo loveteam. However, eventually, they did separate projects and loveteam became inactive.
When Maris greeted Rico for his birthday and he replied with “love you”, speculations surfaced that they are already a couple. Previous tweets of the young actress-singer resurfaced about how she fangirls over the former Rivermaya band member.
Amid the speculations, Rico Blanco and Maris Racal remained silent about the real score between them. In line with this, Inigo Pascual was asked to react in a recent interview on PopCinema.
The son of Piolo Pascual revealed that his former loveteam partner has been a super fan of the singer-songwriter. He added that if the rumors are true, he is happy for them because he knows how Maris admires Rico as an artist.
“Noong loveteam kami ni Maris talagan.. As in pinapakanta sa akin ‘yung mga kanta ni Rico,” Inigo revealed. He added that Rico and Maris have his support and that people should be happy for them.
Inigo also said that even Rico and Maris being friends and when they had their collaboration, he has been expressing support for them. “Sobrang supportive ako doon, kino-congratulate ko siya dahil alam kong sobang idol niya ‘yun,” he said.
He is also wishing the rumored couple the best as he believes “love is love and it’s a beautiful thing.” When asked about his own love life, Inigo said that he is single right now and his focus is on his music career.
