Actress-singer Maris Racal shared this birthday post for singer-songwriter Rico Blanco and the latter wrote this sweet comment.
In the recent Instagram post of Maris, she shared a black and white photo of Rico’s side profile. This included their short cover video of the song Brighter Than Sunshine.
The actress simply captioned her post with “hi rico. happy birthday. (face with cowboy hat emoji).” Several celebrities commented on this post of Maris Racal, such as Maja Salvador, Alex Gonzaga, Julie Anne San Jose, Bela Padilla, and many more.
Some of them greeted Rico Blanco a happy birthday while some just posted a heart of a series of heart emojis. One intriguing comment was from movie director Antoinette Jadaone. ”Akala ko may kiss sa dulo ihhhhhh,” the director said. At the end of the video, Maris and Rico just had a fist bump.
In the comment section, the former Rivermaya band member, wrote this comment that brought “kilig|” to many netizens. “Hahaha love youu!!! (flamingo emojis),” Rico commented.
Several netizens asked about the real score between them while one netizen said that they are already a couple since last year.
Because of this, the name of Maris became a trending topic on Twitter on the afternoon of March 17. Even the tweet of ABS-CBN entertainment reporter MJ Felipe caught the attention of the netizens on the micro-blogging social media site.
Back in 2019, Maris Racal and Rico Blanco collaborated on the song Abot Langit released by Star Music. Last January, Maris featured Rico in her songwriting vlog for the song Not For Me.
