US Pres. Donald Trump’s Impeachment Trial Starts
DONALD TRUMP – The impeachment trial of the former United States President over the incident in the U.S. capitol has started.
Undeniably, former U.S. Pres. Trump is one of the presidents of the American country whose leadership and term are surrounded by controversies. He is already a popular personality in the entertainment field before he secured the top post in the U.S. government.
It is no secret to the public that Trump was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. It is aside from his progressive businesses including real estate that brought him millions.
As his term as president was about to end, Trump tried to secure another term of office in the White House. It was a close fight between him and former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden.
The result of the recent presidential election in the United States elected Biden as the new president of the country. An inauguration has taken place in January 2021.

However, U.S. President Donald Trump and his supporters are visibly not really convinced of the results of the presidential election. In fact, it took a while before the Republican conceded.
Unfortunately, a deadly storming of the U.S. Capitol took place in January. U.S. Pres. Donald Trump was accused of inciting the incident. An impeachment trial was lodged against the Republican.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the impeachment trial of former U.S. Pres. Trump has already started. He is the first former president of the country to be tried in the Senate.
It is not the first impeachment trial of the Republican. In 2019, a trial also took place over allegation of obstruction of Congress and not using his power righteously. He was acquitted by the Senate then.
