MSF Releases New Activity Book Aims to Raise Awareness Among Children About COVID-19
The Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) has issued a new activity book to educate the children about the COVID-19 pandemic.
MSF or popularly known Doctors Without Borders released a children’s activity book entitled “What Can You Do About COVID-19?” The book contains crossword puzzles, guessing games, and mazes.
The organization aims to educate children how they can protect themselves from the coronavirus disease through those simple activities. The kids could have fun performing the tasks writing on the activity book.
“The activities show how children can protect themselves from it, and teach them about some of the tools healthcare workers use to treat the disease,” MSF regional communication manager Polly Michelle Cunanan said.
Cunanan believes that it is important to raise the children’s awareness regarding the coronavirus pandemic. The kids should also understand why they are prohibited to meet their friends and play outside.
The MSF executive said that the activity could also help children with anxieties and mental health problems. The book is available in different languages such as English, Filipino, Bahasa Indonesia and Malay.

The “What Can You Do About COVID-19?” activity book can be downloaded on the MSF website. The group is still working to translate the book in various languages.
