On Tagum’s official Facebook page, the task force for COVID-19 response said they need the cooperation of 1,500 residents, who are subjected to testing. Those residents were identified as direct contacts of positive patients, or have exposures to people with the virus.

According to the post, the selected residents have nothing to worry about on the swab testing conducted since it was free of charge. With the help of the Department of Health (DOH), the testing started on December 2 to last up to December 6.

Aside from QR code deactivation, a violation of Republic Act 11332 or the “Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Health Concern Act” is waving at them.
