‘FUNDkabogable Donation Drive’ of Vice Ganda now has over a million.
VICE GANDA – “Its Showtime” host Vice Ganda’s ‘FUNDkabogable Donation Drive’ now has over Php 1 million for the victims of typhoon.
To give back and to help, many celebrities and famous personalities have done something big to help the people affected greatly by huge floods brought about by the typhoon. Heart Evangelista auctioned her favorite designer pieces, KC Concepcion is selling her jewelry pieces, and many others went their way through to help the victims of Typhoon Ulysses.
And one of whom who launched her donation drive called ‘FUNDkabogable Donation Drive’ is Vice Ganda who is the industry’s “unkabogable” star. With her influence and wide following, her drive earned a big amount which also means a big help for the victims.
For transparency purposes, as of 11 A.M. of November 18, the comedian’s donation drive earned Php 1,021,968.36 which is meant for the affected residents who are the victims of the strong typhoon.
Meanwhile, Vice and her team experienced the intensity of the typhoon while on vacation in Quezon. They struggled and they have documented what they have gone through which they shared in a video blog.
Aside from the amount they were able to gather, she also vowed to donate from her personal wallet after one netizens criticized her for pulling off a donation drive while she can just easily take out an amount from her bank account for donation.
“Hindi po para sa akin ang donasyon na ito at hindi ko po ‘to ginagawa para makatakas sa pag donate. Makaka asa po kayo na may personal po akong donasyon na ibinibigay,” he clarified for those who seemingly misunderstood her drive.
