Matthew Mendoza talked about Sharon Cuneta
Former matinee idol Matthre Mendoza revealed something about Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
Sharon started young in the entertainment industry. Over the course of her acting, she already shared the same frame with many stars from different generations.
In the past, she was able to work with Matthew, and in a recent interview, the actor shared his experience working with the Megastar, based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon.
Matthew Mendoza, who is currently serving as a Councilor in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, shared that he will never forget Sharon Cuneta.
He said that back then, he did not know what to do, and he was afraid to commit mistake while in a scene with the prominent actress.
“To work with Sharon Cuneta, ‘80s Shawie, ‘90s Shawie, isang araw katrabaho mo siya. Parang ‘yung feeling na hindi mo alam kung ano ‘yung gagawin mo. Paano, baka pumalpak ako and everything. It was something na hindi ko makakalimutan,” Matthew said.
In the same interview, the former matinee idol also shared his experience working with other leading ladies. He had three movie projects with former beauty queen-actress Charlene Gonzalez, namely, Dyesebel, Bridesmaids and Ikaw Naman ang Iiyak. He revealed that he specifically enjoyed doing Dyeseble because he loves the ocean.
When it comes to actress Dawn Zulueta, Matthew shared that thye stayed in Cebu for almost half a month for the movie Ikaw Naman Ang Iiyak. He revealed that Dawn was always on time, and she was a bit strict.
“Medyo strict talaga siya. Kapag sinabing ‘take!’ take, walang take 2. Kapag sinabing ‘action!’ alam na niya ‘yung gagawin talaga, very professional. It was in 1996,” Matthew Mendoza shared.
Meanwhile, Sharon Cuneta is currently busy for her upcoming teleserye project, Honor Thy Mother, with Kapuso Primetime Primcess Barbie Forteza.
