During Showtime live airing, Vice Ganda mentioned former Kapamilyas in the show.

VICE GANDA – On Monday episode of “Its Showtime”, Vice Ganda jokingly mentioned several former Kapamilyas who are now in TV5.

Yesterday, October 19, a TV5 new noontime entitled Lunch Out Loud aired their pilot episode and the main host, Billy Crawford, has left a message for his former network, ABS-CBN, the company that sheltered him for over a decade. He expressed how he is forever grateful to the company and to his previous show, “It’s Showtime”, for all the experiences and lessons that he learned by being with them for so long.

In a previous article, his new show in TV5 has the same time slot to Showtime but for him, there is no competition at all. It is with the show and being with his former co-hosts that he learned to make people laugh. It is also with the network he met his wife now, actress Coleen Garcia.

And in time of Billy’s first appearance in TV5, Vice Ganda mentioned him Showtime through a joke. In the segment “Name It to Win It”, the Showtime host jokingly pressed Billy as the winner. Kim Chiu, the newest addition, teasingly warned him about the presence of ABS-CBN Chief Operating Officer of Broadcast Cory Vidanes.

In another segment namely “Hide and Sing”, Vice mentioned former long-time Kapamilya director of ABS-CBN and Star Magic founder Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan who is now in TV5 as well. While examining a masked singer, her indicated, “Nag-a-ASAP ‘to. Malaking lalaki, nag-a-ASAP ito, Mr. M.”

Mr. M is the director of Sunday Noontime Live, TV5’s Sunday variety show which has the same time slot to ASAP, the previous program he was directing.
