Is Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu also leaving the ABS-CBN network?

KIM CHIU – Kapamilya actress and dancer Kim Chiu speaks about possibility of transferring to other network following ABS-CBN’s shut down.

The biggest media network company in the Philippines, ABS-CBN, has failed in its bid to have a franchise renewal. As they try to be granted a fresh franchise, it has met a lot of roadblock especially under President Duterte’s administration.

And when they have shut down and stopped their broadcasting operations, some pf their artists transferred to other networks. Now, one of their own artists who really started in the network and never left since then is Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu. Is it possible now for her to transfer?

In a report from PEP, the actress firmly stated her decision to stand and stay with ABS-CBN. Despite the pandemic and the shut down of her network, she never ran out of projects which she is grateful for always. She admitted of receiving offers from other networks but she insisted to stay with ABS-CBN.

Standing her loyalty to the network, he disclosed that she still has a contract with them but her loyalty is out of her gratitude to ABS-CBN who gave her the opportunities to be a successful actress that she is now.

She said, “Yung bahay na inuuwian ko, yung kotse na meron ako, yung buhay na meron ako, parang hindi ko naman matatalikuran kung sino ang nagbigay noon. So, yun… [Siguro] Pag paalisin na nila ako, sige.”

Kim is famous for her “Bawal Lumabas” statement and recently blew the social media away as she definitely nailed “Not Shy” of ITZY dance cover which she shared on her YouTube channel.
