Is it true that Johnny Manahan left ABS-CBN due to this?
Former Star Magic head Johnny Manahan, also known as Mr. M, allegedly has “sama ng loob” against ABS-CBN’s Sunday musical variety show ASAP Natin ‘To.
To recall, Mr. M is one of those who left the Kapamilya network after its franchise was denied. It was reported that he will do projects on TV5. Following this, actress-dancer Maja Salvador expressed that she will support her “Tatay”, referring to Mr. M.
Then, the announcement was made that Maja will do also a new show on the Kapatid network. Based on the article from Abante Entertainment, Johnny Manahan will do all-new shows on TV5 unlike the Banana Sundae and Home Sweet Home formats with just new titles.

Entertainment columnist Rose Garcia mentioned in her article that an issue reached their knowledge regarding the reason behind the transfer of Mr. M to TV5. It was alleged that he has “sama ng loob” against ASAP because he was not informed that it will be back on the air with a new director.
For several years, he has been handling the musical variety show of ABS-CBN. An article from Pilipino Star Ngayon stated that the new director of ASAP Natin ‘To is Si Joanne Laygo. It was said that she is a former dancer of Hotlegs.
