Celine Pialago lambasted by Ogie Diaz in a post following her comments bout Reina Mae Nasino.
OGIE DIAZ – Talent manager Ogie Diaz lambasted MMDA Spokesperson Celine Pialago after she called Reina Mae Nasino’s situation “drama serye”.
Last October 18, Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) spokesperson Celine Pialago made a statement that sparked outrage online. In her statement she told people to stop making a fuss about the grief of jailed activist Reina Mae Nasino over the passing of her 3-month-old baby she named River.
She expressed no sympathy to her fellow woman and even indicated, “Kaya iyong mga sumisimpatiya kay Reina Mae Nasino, pag-aralan ‘nyo mabuti ang dahilan bakit siya nakulong at kilalanin ‘nyong mabuti kung sino siya sa lipunan.”
Enchong Dee slammed her in a post calling her “heartless and unintelligent” and another famous personality, Ogie Diaz, also called her out online for her “insensitive comment”. The talent manager’s post said, “Ate, makidalamhati ka man lang bilang ikaw ay babae rin at magiging ina ka rin. Wag puro ganda lang. Maganda din sana kalooban mo sa kapwa mo babae.”
Nasino’s baby died due to acute respiratory distress syndrome on October 9 and was only given 6-hours to be on her child’s wake and burial. This 6 hours is divided to two days. Twenty police officers escorted the activist to the burial and a SWAT team a firetruck were on standby and officers refused to take off her hand cuffs which is the real drama as per Diaz.
The post has been deleted but a screenshot was uploaded again. Many people reacted to and also lambasted the MMDA spokesperson due to her post. It was then recalled when she called her fellow candidate before who “passed away” instead of “passed out”.
