Celine Pialago Says Supporters Turn Reina Mae Nasino’s Plight Into ‘Drama Serye’

Netizens Slam MMDA Spokesperson Celine Pialago’s FB Post

CELINE PIALAGO – Netizens slammed Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) spokesperson Celine Pialago’s recent FB post.

On Friday afternoon, baby River was buried at the Manila North Cemetery. The newborn child was the son of jailed activist Reina Mae Nasino.

Nasino was barred from joining the funeral procession and only given 3 hours to bury her child. She has long been pleading to the courts to let her stay with her newborn daughter. When her baby died due to gastroenteritis complications, she was granted furlough to attend the wake and burial.

On Sunday, MMDA spokesperson Celine Pialago slammed the supporters of Nacuni saying they turned her plight into a “drama serye.” On her official Facebook page, she urged the activists’ supporters to explore the Nasino’s background and why she was arrested. Her FB post went viral on all social media platforms.

“Happy Sunday everyone!

Tigilan niyo!”
