Here’s an update about the health of actor Tom Hanks after he tested positive for COVID-19.
TOM HANKS – Award-winning Hollywood actor Tom Hanks gives an update about his condition after he tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019.
In a previous article, everyone got shocked when the Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks and his wife actress Rita Wilson tested positive for Coronavirus Disease 2019, which is also known as COVID-19. This is a highly contagious disease brought by a new strain of coronavirus which was discovered in China.
They underwent further tests, got observed, and have been under isolation which they will follow for as long it is required. Accordingly, they have suffered colds, body aches, chills, and slight fevers. This disease attacks the respiratory and at higher risk for this to have are the old people and persons with underlying health conditions.
They have contracted the virus when they were still at Australia for production of director Baz Luhrmann’s untitled film about Elvis Presley. And now, in a report from Inquirer, he and his wife are actually now feeling better two weeks after their first symptoms.
On Monday, he encouraged people to listen and follow the advice accordingly in preventing the spread of the virus. He said, “Sheltering in place works like this: You don’t give it to anyone — you don’t get it from anyone. Common sense, no? Going to take a while but if we take care of each other, help where we can, and give up some comforts… this too shall pass. We can figure this out.”
