TOM HANKS – Award-winning actor Tom Hanks says he and his wife actress Rita Wilson tested positive of Coronavirus Disease 2019.

Through social media post, Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks announced on Wednesday, March 11, that he and his wife actress Rita Wilson have resulted to positive of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). In his post, he shared that they have experienced feeling a bit tired, having colds, body aches, and slight fevers.

And after being tested, they have gained positive results. To follow some protocols, he and his wife will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as it is required.

In an Instagram post, the actor wrote:

“Hello, folks. Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive.”

According to the Deadline report, they are in Australia for production of director Baz Luhrmann’s untitled film about Elvis Presley, this is a film from Warner Bros. Hanks will be playing the role of Presley’s longtime manager Colonel Tom Parker. This is accordingly scheduled to open on Oct. 1, 2021.

Hanks is remarkable for the roles he played in movies “Forrest Gump” and “Philadelphia”.
