Class Suspension for Friday (January 31) Due To Coronavirus

WALANG PASOK – Several local government units and schools have declared class suspension as a precautionary measure against coronavirus.

The 2019 novel coronavirus has been the headlines of local and international news over the past few days. The mysterious disease continues to spread in different countries all around the world.

Many countries are already implementing stricter rules and regulations to prevent the rapid spread of the deadly virus. The Philippines is already imposing precautionary measures and strictly monitors travelers from China.

Class Suspension

On Thursday (January 30, 2020), the Department of Health confirmed the first case of coronavirus in the Philippines. The 38-year-old female virus carrier came from Wuhan, China. The health authorities are currently checking the place and people she had been in contact with.

On Friday (January 31, 2020), several schools, colleges, and universities have suspended the classes as a precautionary measure against the spread of nCoV. The cancellation of classes has been made to ensure the safety of the students.
