Ruru Madrid contradicted this statement about cheaters
Kapuso actor Ruru Madrid stressed that a change can happen even after a cheating incident.
Ruru’s statement that cheaters can change, appearance on the game show The People Have Spoken, became a hot topic when he seemingly defended cheaters.
In the July 25 episode of the original Kapuso game show hosted by Heart Evangelista and Sean Lucas, one of the questions asked whether the players, Ruru and Mikoy Morales, as well as Analyn Barro and Arra San Agustin, agreed with the statement: “Once a cheater, always a cheater.”
In the said episode, Ruru Madrid stressed, “Puwede pa talagang magbago kahit sino at papatunayan namin ‘yan.”
That is why King of Talk Boy Abunda asked Ruru on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda this Tuesday, August 4, if the actor has proven it already.
“I’m gonna be honest, Tito Boy, at ikaw naman ‘yan, tayo-tayo lang naman ang nandito, yeah, napatunayan [na],” Ruru said.
The Kapuso actor also shared that he was only 20 years old when he made a mistake. However, the actor was quick to clarify that his young age was no excuse for his error.
That is why he is deeply grateful to his long-time girlfriend, Bianca Umali, for forgiving him. In fact, he even considers what happened a blessing in disguise, as it reportedly made Ruru realize how important Bianca is to him.
“Nag-break kami ng eight months, but now, eight years na po kami. Tinanggap niya po ako ulit. Kaya ko po sinasabi na kahit naman po sinong tao, pwedeng magbago, ano man pong klaseng pagkakamali ‘yan, pwede pa rin pong magbago ang tao kasi, ‘di ba, ang Diyos nga natin, marunong magpatawad,” the actor shared.
The Kapuso Primetime Action Hero also said that, for him, cheating is a person’s choice. He said that in the entertainment industry, cheating is easy, and this also goes with other industries. For him, it is easy to make mistakes, but it is still up to the person if he or she wants to make mistakes.
Right now, Ruru Madrid is held and cherished by many in his life, including Bianca’s love for him. The actor said he will never find a woman who loves him the way Bianca loves him. He will hold on to this for the rest of his life, and every time temptation comes his way, he will just pray.
