This is the “tagubilin” of Chokoleit to Vice Ganda and Pooh
Late comedian Chokoleit has this “tagubilin” to his friends and fellow comedians Vice Ganda and Pooh.
Chokie, who is Jonathan Garcia in real life, brought laughter to his audience in Abra last March 9. However, after his performance, he brought tears to many of his friends and loved ones.
He was declared dead on arrival at the Abra Provincial Hospital due to pulmonary edema and heart attack.
His closest friends in the entertainment industry were the first to pay respect at his funeral in Antipolo such as Vice Ganda, K Brosas, Pokwang, and Pooh.
John Lapus said in a previous report that he went there earlier to make sure everything is in order. However, he shared a funny story when he saw Chokoleit inside the coffin.
The death of the comedian is indeed a heartbreak for the people who have been with him for the longest time. His half-brother Gerald also shared the same pain for losing a “kuya” who stood as their father.
“Since we didn’t have a father kasi, wala na… siya na… siya na ang tumayong pillar ng family namin. Even up to this day,” Gerald said.
He also shared that he will be the one who will take care now of the five dogs of Chokie.
“Meron nang may-ari nung apat na puppies na bago. May mga may-ari na talaga yun. Prior pa. May close friends na siya na may-ari. Iyong lima pang aso, sa akin na ang mga yun. Anak niya ang mga yun, e. Ganun ang turing niya sa mga yun, e. So I have to take care of them,” he added.
Based on PEP’s report, the half-brother of Chokoleit is also aware that he has a “tagubilin” to Vice and Pooh.
“Just in case daw, pag namatay daw siya… kina Pooh, kina Vice [Ganda]… nagsabi daw na i-cremate daw. Nagbiro pa nga raw na pagka-cremate daw… yung abo, ibubudbod daw sa pansit…” Gerald said.
