Is this a kind of “pagpapahiwatig” from Chokoleit before he died?
The last moments of comedian Chokoleit during a show in Abra appeared to be a kind of “pahiwatig” before he died.
He passed away after his performance in an out of town show in the said province. Star Circle, the talent arm of ABS-CBN, confirmed this sad news.
However, there is no further details yet regarding his death.
Following this, several celebrities in the Philippine entertainment industry expressed grief for losing someone who brought laughter in Filipino homes.
Comedian-host Vice Ganda, one of Chokoleit’s closest friends, was one of the first celebrities who wrote a heartfelt message for him.
Just like any other performer, the late comedian also did his best until he finished his stint in Abra.
Based on PEP’s report, the comedian who was born as Jonathan Garcia, already showed signs that he was not feeling well during his show last March 9.
Carl Guevarra, a member of the band The Juans, was able to capture the last moments of the comedian while he was performing.
“Chokoleit’s last words are chilling. Still can’t believe how life just passes by. Hope this helps us appreciate life and our loved ones. RIP,” the Facebook post of the band member stated.
As usual, the late comedian gave a remarkable performance for the audience and provided them his trademark comedic stint.
While he was performing, anyone could notice that he was not speaking normally as he seemed running out of breath.
In spite of that situation, he did not fail his audience but one of his last statements appeared to be a “pahiwatig” or a premonition that he was about to bid goodbye permanently.
“Siyempre, ako ang mauuna! Kasi kung ako huli, baka hindi ko na kayo abutan!” Chokoleit said, based on the report.
