Rock Icon Pepe Smith Dies at 71
PEPE SMITH DIES – Daisy Smith-Owen, the daughter of 71-year-old rock icon Joey “Pepe” Smith, confirmed today, January 28, 2019, that her father died.
One of the rock icons that many people won’t surely forget is Pepe Smith, a former member of the Juan Dela Cruz band alongside with Mike Hanopol and Wally Gonzalez.
After sometime with the band, Pepe decided to go solo. He continued to have the spotlight in the music industry.
Recently, a sad news about Pepe Smith crossed the social media. It was no other than his daughter who shared the news about the rock icon.
On her Facebook account, the rock icon’s daughter Daisy Smith-Owen shared that Pepe Smith died. He passed away at the age of 71 years old. In her post today, January 28, 2019, the daughter of the rock icon expressed her gratitude to her father.
Daisy thanked Pepe for everything and for being the best father. She assured him of her belief that he’s in the “best place” now where there is no more pain.
