Pepe Smith Suffers Stroke Rushed To The Hospital

The 69-year-old Pinoy Rock legend Joey Pepe Smith was immediately rushed to Metro Antipolo Hospital after suffering a stroke.

On Tuesday evening (November 14, 2017), Pepe Smith was rushed to the emergency room of Metro Antipolo Hospital after complaining of his tongue’s unexplainable movement.

Around 3 am on Wednesday (November 15, 2017), the musician was transferred to the Acute Stroke Unit of the hospital.

According to the hospital staff, the vital signs of Smith is now stable, but neurologist and other medical experts still need to (–foul word(s) removed–)s the health condition of the patient.

The Rock n Roll King suffered from stroke for the third time since 2016, so the doctors were carefully observing his health condition.

Pepe Smith rose to fame in 1970 as a member of the Pinoy rock band “Juan de la Cruz band” who popularized the songs “Ang Himig Natin,” “Balong Malalim,” “Beep Beep” and numerous hit songs, which inspired the Filipino musicians of today’s generation.

The Fil-Am guitarist from Pampanga was also a member of the band “Downbeats” in 1960’s and he was also known as Mick Jagger of the Philippines.
