Pasay Prosecution Withdraws Application for Sen. Trillanes Hold Departure Order
TRILLANES HOLD DEPARTURE ORDER – A Pasay prosecution withdrew the application for the precautionary hold departure order against Senator Antonio Trillanes IV.
Sen. Trillanes is undeniably facing several issues now. Previously, the amnesty granted to him by former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III was questioned and was voided by a presidential proclamation.
Former Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte and Attorney Manases Carpio also filed separate complaints against the Senator. It was over the previous corruption accusations of the Senator against them.
Recently, a Regional Trial Court (RTC) in Davao City issued an arrest warrant against Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV. It’s over the libel case filed by presidential son Paolo Duterte.
In the arrest warrant signed by judge Melinda Arconcel-Dayanghirang, it is stated that a bail could be posted by Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV. The bond was fixed at Php 24,000.00.
Today, December 10, 2018, the Senator went to Pasay City Regional Trial Court to post bail.
Another report about Sen. Trillanes has also recently crossed the surface. A Pasay prosecution withdrew the application for the precautionary hold departure order against the Senator.
Based on the social media post of DZMM TeleRadyo, the application for the hold departure order against the lawmaker was withdrawn due to the lack of witness. It was signed by presiding judge Rowena Nieves A. Tan.

As of this writing, Sen. Trillanes has yet to give a statement regarding the withdrawal of the precautionary hold departure order against him. We’ll keep you posted for further information.
