Famous personality Maui Taylor opens up about her life now as a single mother, raising her two boys, Antoine Miguel and Matteo Alonzo.
It has been years since Maui Taylor and her ex-husband separated. Based on reports from 2023, despite their separation, they still lived in the same house and were co-parenting their two sons.
She slept in a different room, and despite living in a single house, they had full freedom to do as they liked without any questions asked. It was quite a unique setup, but it was what worked for them.
Antoine Miguel and Matteo Alonzo are her sons, and recently, she opened up about being a single mom, raising these two gentlemen. They are 13 and 11 as of this writing, respectively.
According to her, whenever she does not have work, she spends most of her time at home with her children. She prepares meals for them to ensure they have food for the entire day while she is away, and whenever possible, she would even bring them to work, especially her eldest child, who dreams of joining the show business industry.
“Pagdating sa school naman, pag may klase sila, gumigising ako for them. Kumakain ako with them. Pag-alis nila, e, saka na lang ako uli matutulog. No matter how puyat. So, I’m hands on,” she added.
She continues to balance her career and motherhood, making sure to stay actively involved in her children’s lives despite her demanding schedule. She said she prioritizes spending quality time with them and remains present during their formative years, ensuring that her role as a mother always comes first, even while pursuing her work in show business.
“Kailangan, e. Kailangan. Kasi, yon yung mga learning years nila na hindi mo puwedeng bitawan,” Maui said.
