Robin Padilla and other popular celebrities in the country took to social media to express their message of respect to Sen. Grace Poe after accepting defeat to Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte who maintains a wide lead for about 6 million votes margin in the 2016 Presidential Election.

“The woman who delivered the solid victory to our New President Rodrigo Duterte. If she gave in to the call of Mr Mar Roxas [to unite], the start of the revolution will never be realized. Deepest respect to you Madame Grace Poe, you are truly the daughter of the KING FPJ,” the action star noted on his Instagram post.
Robin Padilla is one of the avid celebrity supporters of the PDP-Laban standard-bearer.

Meanwhile, Duterte is currently dominating in the presidential race with 15,245,930 votes followed by Mar Roxas with 9,183,938 votes in the partial and unofficial results as of 9:30 am, May 10, 2016, with 90.63% partial and unofficial results.
Grace Poe on the other hand gained the third spot with 8,542,159 votes followed by Vice President Jejomar Binay with 5,061,014 votes. Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago got the fifth spot with 1,366,558.
In the vice presidential race, Leni Robredo leads with 13,286,907 while Bongbong Marcos follow with small margin after he earned 13,144,856 votes as of posting.
