MANNY PACQUIAO – Senator Manny Pacquiao opened up about his plan to probably run for Philippines’ President in 2022.
The Pambansang Kamao, Manny Pacquiao, recently had his speech at the Oxford University in the United Kingdom.
The boxer-politician spoke in the world’s most prestigious universities regarding his experience in the government.
At the open forum after Pacquiao’s speech at Oxford University, he talked about President Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs.
Based on a report from ABS-CBN, Manny Pacquiao is President Duterte’s ally. He said on that prestigious university that many drug suspects ended up dead because of fighting back against the arresting officers.
Manny confessed that the Philippine President urged the police officers to use force if the suspects fight back in resistance.
Pacquiao shared that he is fighting a war against modern-day slavery, supporting athletes and better healthcare services, and urging for strong communities.
The first-term senator also confessed at the forum that he hated politicians before he entered the world of boxing.
However, Manny Pacquiao changed his mind because he said his earnings as a boxer is not enough to help his countrymen.
According to the report, Manny Pacquiao gave hint that he is open to running as Philippines’ President in 2022.
Pacquiao stated that he’ll soon give this a serious thought after his upcoming rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

“My compassion for the plight of my people is what motivated me to enter the world of public service,” he added.
Based on the report, Manny Pacquiao said despite his misfortunes, there will no better mentor than what he has experienced in the past.
