One of the vocal celebrities who slammed that idea of Sotto is Vice Ganda who tweeted this:

“Bakit hindi na lang ang mamatay ng dahil sa trapik. Ang mamatay ng dahil sa mataas na bilihin. Ang mamatay ng dahil sa bukbok ng NFA. Lahat na lang pinapalitan, nakakaloka,” Vice Ganda said in his tirade.
As he is known for expressing his thoughts in the most funny way, the noontime show host said, “baka and Leron Leron Sinta maisip niyo na rin palitan ang dulo.”
Then came his impromptu song about the Filipino nursery rhyme.
Vice Ganda said that the last line of Leron Leron Sinta should be “kapos kapalaran, bigyan ng second chance.”
This funny blow brought out laughter from the audience. His co-host Amy Perez even made Vice indulge to render his version of the nursery rhyme.
