Filipino socialite and politician Imelda Marcos is the wife of the late Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos.
The former first lady Imelda Marcos celebrated her 90th birthday at the Ynares Sports Center today.
However, the birthday bash of Imelda Marcos did not end very well.
Following a previous article, some attendees of the politician’s birthday party were rushed to the hospital due to food poisoning.
Out of 2000 guests, 137 guests suffered from stomach ache, dizziness, and vomiting at the event in Pasig City.
Based on a report from South China Morning Post, Imelda Marcos served Philippine’s national dish, adobo with egg.
Pasig Police Chief Rizalito Gapaz and his team said they will be investigating the incident.
As of this writing, the patients were still recovering from the vomiting episodes.
Senator and Chairman of the Philippine National Red Cross Richard Gordon said the Marcos’ guests are now taken cared for by the health experts.
“We already alerted nearby hospitals for possible patients transport… Medic teams are currently responding to the site,” he said.

According to the report, Imelda Marcos’ daughter Senator-elect Imee Marcos apologized to their guest and said they will surely receive the best care.
“We will take care of those who were hospitalized and hopefully we will visit them one by one…”
“I am hoping also we can reach the age of 90 still beautiful, kind and helpful like my mother,” she added.
