These People Were Hospitalized After Attending Imelda Marcos’ Birthday Party

On Monday, the former first lady celebrated her Birthday. A bit advanced as her actual birthday would be the next day after.
Hundreds of her friends and supporters from the Friends of Imelda Romualdez-Marcos-24K or FIRM-24K also came to the event. The FIRM-24K is an established group by Marcos loyalist from all over the country.
Despite her husband being ousted from his position by the People Power movement in EDSA, their loyal followers stuck around with them until now.
Meanwhile, Imelada Marcos’ 90th birthday party celebration was celebrated in Pasig City. The grand celebration itself was held at Ynares Sports Arena.
After the celebration, there were reports that some of the attendees were sent to the hospital.
According to an article from GMA News, 60 people were hospitalized due to an alleged food poisoning case.
Senator Imee Marcos, Imelda Marcos’ daughter claimed that they will look after the victims and promised to pay them a visit at the hospital.
She said:
“Asikasuhin na lang natin yung mga nasa ospital, at asahan po ninyo na bibisitahin natin ang bawat isa.”
[We’ll take care of those who are in the hospital and expect that we will visit each one of them.]
