Amid the Flood Control Issue, Zaldy Co Posts Alleged Budget Insertions of Cong. Sandro Marcos
Zaldy Co tagged presidential son and Ilocos Norte Congressman Sandro Marcos in the budget insertion mess in the Philippines.
After Co recently posted more photos of the alleged “deliveries ” to President Bongbong Marcos and former Speaker Martin Romualdez, the resigned Ako Bicol Partylist Representative tagged the son of the President.

In one of his latest posts on social media, Zaldy Co cited photos of the alleged budget insertions of presidential son and Ilocos Norte Cong. Sandro Marcos in 2025 General Appropriations Act or GAA. He stressed that the budget insertions of the younger Marcos allegedly takes an upward trend in three (3) years.
According to the resigned House member, the budget insertions of Ilocos Norte Cong. Sandro Marcos is over P50 billion in just three (3) years. Based on the post, most of the projects that the House Deputy Floor Leader sought budget appropriations for were the construction of flood control structures.

“Kung mapapansin niyo ay taon-taon, padami nang padami ang insertions niya tuwing Bicam. Ang total ng kanyang insertions sa loob ng tatlong (3) taon ay mahigit P50 Billion,” Co stated in his post.
Prior to exposing the alleged budget insertions of Ilocos Norte Cong. Sandro Marcos, Zaldy Co claimed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez allegedly ordered a P100-billion budget insertion in the 2025 national fund. He also claimed that Marcos Jr. and Romualdez allegedly got a P56-billion kickback all for themselves.

According to Co, he was allegedly told by Romualdez not to return to the Philippines as supposedly instructed by Marcos Jr. He also claimed that he was promised to be taken cared of but he did not expect that he will supposedly be used as the “poster boy” in the Marcos Jr. administration’s fight against corruption.
The resigned House member also claimed that he was allegedly threatened by then-Speaker Romualdez that he might be killed if he returns to the country. According to him, the Marcos Jr. administration allegedly wants to bury him along with the supposed truth.
Malacañang immediately defended Marcos Jr. saying that Co should return to the country and testify under oath. According to Palace press officer undersecretary Claire Castro, the resigned House member allegedly wants the investigation to stop so he implicated the President.
Recently, amid his accusations against him, Pres. Bongbong Marcos dared Zaldy Co to return to the Philippines and face the accusations against him.
