BONGBONG MARCOS – The President dared resigned Ako Bicol Partylist Representative Zaldy Co to return to the Philippines and stand by his claims.

Recently, former House member Zaldy Co threw more corruption accusations against Marcos Jr. and former Speaker Romualdez as he posted photos of the alleged “deliveries” to them. He also claimed that aside from the supposed P56 billion kickback, the President and the former House Speaker allegedly made a P100-billion budget insertion in the 2025 national budget and P97 billion flood control insertion in the National Expenditure Program (NEP) of the 2026 national budget.

“Noong 2022, kakaupo ko pa lang bilang chairman ng House Committee on Appropriations, sinabi na agad sa akin ni Speaker Romualdez na kailangan kong makapag-deliver ng P2 billion kada buwan,” Co further claimed.

Malacañang immediately defended Pres. Bongbong Marcos from the first accusations of Zaldy Co. According to the Palace, the resigned House member allegedly wants the investigation to stop so he implicated the President. Recently, Marcos Jr. himself spoke on the corruption accusations against him.

Based on a post of News5 on social media, Pres. Bongbong Marcos dared Zaldy Co to return to the Philippines and face the charges filed against him. According to the Chief Executive, he is ready to face the allegations of the resigned House member against him.

“Ako, hindi ako nagtatago. Kung meron kang akusasyon sa akin, nandito ako… Para patas lang naman,” Marcos Jr. said.

According to Pres. Bongbong Marcos, for the statement of Zaldy Co to have value, he should return to the Philippines and face the charges against him. He believes that the people will know about it. Based on the post, the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) has released a Blue Notice on Co.

“For it to mean something, umuwi siya. Harapin niya ‘yung kaso niya. Kung mayroon siyang gustong sabihin, sabihin niya. Malalaman naman ng tao ‘yan. But, come home, come home. Bakit ka nagtatago sa malayo?” the President said.

Previously, the President announced that arrest warrants have been released against some flood control accused including Zaldy Co. Pres. Bongbong Marcos called on the flood control accused to voluntarily surrender to the authorities.
