For the first time after seven years, Daniel Padilla is doing an action series!
ABS-CBN superstar Daniel Padilla is coming back for “Incognito”, an action series, and here’s what he said about it.
Several months after the split announcement with Kathryn Bernardo, actor Daniel Padilla is returning in an action series with Richard Gutierrez. This is the first of two actors to work together in a series.
This series marks both of their comeback and as for Padilla, this is his first action series in seven years. As much as we all know, his previous projects were mostly romance and drama. The last action-packed series he did was “La Luna Sangre” which was in 2017.Â
Based on the teaser video of “Incognito”, Gutierrez and Padilla are going to be working with Baron Geisler, Kaila Estrada, Ian Veneracion, and breakthrough tandem Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings.
Previously, the upcoming ABS-CBN Studios project had a taping in El Nido, Palawan, which generated a loud buzz online. Speaking about his new series, the actor shared that the taping in El Nido was a real challenge for all of them.
“Medyo inulan, ulan araw, ulan araw, pero masaya maganda mga nakunan dun,” he said.
According to him, he was chasing with his co-stars, especially Gutierrez and Ian Veneracion who are both doing mostly action series. He is grateful for being friends with them and for being guided by them.
He is also thankful to the team for providing them with proper training for the action scenes, including ‘Pekiti,’ a type of martial arts.
“Nagtraining kami. We had two-three months of training before doing this. Talagang pinaghandaan nang maigi, siyempre ayaw nating magmukhang nagpapanggap doon. Gusto natin totoo lahat,” he shared.
After El Nido, they are headed to Italy to shoot their opening week. They are going to stay in the southern part for 13 days.
