This is what Claudine Barretto said about the past controversy.
Claudine Barretto reveals that she and Mon Tulfo have made peace years after their controversial 2012 airport confrontation.
More than a decade after their highly publicized airport confrontation, Claudine Barretto clarified that she and Mon Tulfo have already made peace and buried the hatchet. The actress said the past issue between them and the Tulfo family has long been settled.

The conversation was brought up after the actress was asked about her recent Facebook post tagging Ramon “Bon” Tulfo III, Mon’s son. In the post, she referred to Bon as a friend and said that they share a deep friendship.
Claudine stressed that there is no longer any issue between her and the Tulfo family.
As per her claims, they reconciled a long time ago and revealed that she also made peace with Senator Raffy Tulfo, Mon’s brother, with the help of her close friend and lawyer, Attorney Ferdie Topacio.
She also recalled that Mon showed concern for her during the difficult period when she was experiencing problems with Raymart. She shared, “And nung nagkaproblema kami ni Raymart, lumapit talaga si Kuya Mon sa akin. Tumawag siya at nagtanong. So kung anuman yun, wala na talaga yun.”
For her, people can change, and she believes the past should remain in the past.
She said, “Ang tao naman nagbabago. Tsaka, di ba, ano na lang yun, tapos na yun, kung anuman yung mga ano namin dati.”
To recall, the incident happened at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 in 2012 and involved Mon, Claudine, and Raymart. The incident escalated into a physical fight after an argument involving Mon’s cellphone and the filming of the situation. It has been 14 years since it happened.
