Bus Conductor Elicits Reactions Online After His Driver Leaves Him Stranded
A bus conductor goes viral online after his driver drove off, leaving him behind on a highway in Cabangan, Zambales.
Nowadays, numerous people rely on public transportation to get to work, school, or other destinations. Among the numerous individuals who contribute to making these journeys possible, bus conductors stand out as unsung heroes of the road.
A conductor plays an important role in collecting fares, enhancing the passenger experience, and at times, serves as the backup driver for long journeys. These professionals often work long hours, deal with varying weather conditions, and have to manage a wide range of passenger personalities and needs.
Recently, Jimmuel Danaytan, a bus passenger, recounted how the conductor had stepped outside the bus to help him retrieve his luggage from the compartment when the driver decided to set off without him.
Danaytan described the conductor’s visibly disappointed expression due to the incident while trying hard to contain his laughter.
“Pababa na ako ng bus, kukuhanin na sana ng conductor ‘yung mga bagahe ko sa baba hindi pa niya nabubuksan kaso umalis na ‘yung bus. So ayun naiwan si kuyang conductor HAHA,” he shared.
However, the bus driver eventually returned to pick up the conductor. He quickly apologized for his mistake and explained that he had been unaware of the fact that the conductor had left the bus to assist a passenger with his luggage.
“Humingi naman po sila ng pasensya. Pero si kuyang driver tawa ng tawa talaga huhuhu! Pati nga pasahero sa loob nagtatawanan, Baka dala lang din po ng pagod yung driver kasi layo talaga ng byahe kaya hindi niya napansin na bumaba din conductor niya,” he added.
