Jerome Francisco, a 28-year-old native of Murcia, meticulously crafts rattan baskets and sells them in various municipalities just to earn money and help his family. Hailing from Barangay Buenavista in Murcia, he faces the daily grind with admirable perseverance.

Sitting by the roadside in front of a fast-food restaurant, Jerome’s baskets catch the eyes of passersby. Each rattan basket boasts a unique design, crafted with care and originality.
