This is what Vic Sotto said about the possibility of him being a politician.
In a “Truth or Dare” challenge, Bossing Vic Sotto reveals his stand about politics and his thoughts about joining this field.
Many celebs have actually joined the cluster of those who have turned politicians. They believe that to further their public service mission, joining politics will be a big help. And to most of them, getting into the position is a bit easier as they already have the star power, influence, and fame.
And asked recently about this matter was Bossing Vic Sotto. The E.A.T. host was asked if he was planning to join politics.
As much as we all know, his clan is not just known for being a clan of show business personalities but also a clan of politicians. His brother Tito Sotto was the former senate president while his son Vico Sotto is the Pasig City Mayor.
In the recent video of Kim Chiu, Bossing answered the question.
According to him, there were offers for him before but he refused them. There were also those who asked him about joining politics if he was interested which was way before his brother joined.
But he denied it all.
According to him, one can become a public servant even without joining politics.
“Sa akin naman, pwede ka namang maging public servant na hindi ka namumulitika. Never kong in-entertain. Okay na akong ‘ra ra boys’ lang, alalay lang, tagakampanya lang,” he said.
In the same video, he was asked other questions regarding his personal life and his experiences in the entertainment industry. He was asked if there was someone from the industry that he did not like but he answered no one. There were people he didn’t like the way they acted but to hate their personality, there was no one.
He also refused to answer how much he earns in a day. He responded instead, “Sakto lang, komportable lang sa buhay. Through the years naman, palaki ng palaki ‘yun. Siyempre tumataas din ang cost of living ng mga Pilipino, so sumasabay lang yun. Basta komportable lang.”
