These weather systems include a southwesterly surface wind flow persisting west of northern and central Luzon and a frontal system in the extreme northern Luzon area.
As a result, several parts of the country, including Northern Luzon and western parts of mainland Luzon, are expected to experience cloudy skies and rain.
On Tuesday (May 16, 2023), the classes in some areas have been canceled due to the heavy rain and flood caused by a thunderstorm. As a result, students and teachers are advised to stay at home and take the necessary precautions to ensure their safety.
