Fur Parents Slams Irresponsible Pet Owner Inside Mall
PET OWNER – Numerous fur parents react to an irresponsible pet owner leaving his dog’s poop inside the mall.
A recent incident involving a pet dog pooping in a mall has sparked calls for responsible pet ownership from furparents. The incident, which was captured in a photo and shared on social media by uploader Sheng, showed a couple and their furry friend stopping in the middle of Ayala Malls (Glorietta).
At first, Sheng thought the dog was just refusing to walk, but upon closer inspection, she noticed that the dog had pooped and the owner quickly left the area without cleaning it up.
“We were on our way to Timezone Glorietta nung nakita namin sila. At first, akala ko ayaw lang maglakad ng dog kaya sila nag-stop then nung lumapit na kami sa kanila, doon namin nakita na nag-poop pala ‘yung dog niya then nagmamadaling umalis, walang lingon-lingon. Tinatawag namin siya pero dedma siya. That’s the time na I took picture na,” Sheng said.
Sheng and other mall-goers were shocked by the incident, expressing concern that someone could have stepped on the poop and the hassle it would cause. Sheng’s niece also noticed the incident and remarked that even kids know what responsible pet ownership entails.
Due to the incident, Sheng reminded furparents to be responsible when bringing their pets outside. She emphasized the importance of carrying poop bags, wipes/tissues, and alcohol to clean up after pets.
The lady netizens noted that incidents like this can cause establishments to close their doors to pets, which can negatively affect responsible furparents.
Overall, pet ownership comes with responsibilities, and it is up to pet owners to ensure that they are being responsible and considerate of others. Let us all work together to promote responsible pet ownership and keep public places clean and safe for everyone.
