Here’s the new format for Miss World 2025 as announced by the organization.
MISS WORLD 2025 FORMAT – The organization has recently revealed the new format for the upcoming pageant to be held on May 31 in India.
The Miss World pageant has a motto: “Beauty with a Purpose.” This digs deeper into the real essence of being a beauty queen, where contestants are being judged not just on their physical appearance but also according to their humanitarian work. It highlights social responsibility, charity work, and community service.
Recently, a new format has been announced for the upcoming competition that is to be held in India on May 31. It will be held at Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad.
According to the organization, from the 108 participants, 40 will be chosen to advance to the next round, which will be the quarterfinals. They will come from continental regions, namely Africa, the Americas & the Caribbean, Asia & Oceania, and Europe.
This will include the Fast-Track winners, who will be qualified regardless of where they belong. From each continental region, the judges will be choosing a Top 5. After this, they will be narrowed down to the Top 2. This means every continental region will have one winner and one runner-up.
The Top 2 from each region will compete in the finals. The continental winners will be revealed by the judges, who will also be the overall Top 4 finalists of the competition, as well as the continental first runner-ups.
The final result will be composed of the titleholder, first runner-up, second runner-up, and third runner-up. The first runner-up in the titleholder’s continent will be the continental winner.
The country’s representative is Krishnah Gravidez, and she will be vying for the second crown following the victory of Megan Young in 2013.
