IMEE MARCOS – The Senator wore the barong of her late father, former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., during her proclamation.
The Commission on Elections finished the canvassing of votes at the earliest time possible this year for the 2025 Midterm Elections. Last Saturday, COMELEC held the proclamation ceremony for the 12 winning senators in the 2025 Elections. The presidential sister is one of the senatorial candidates who won in the race.
Sen. Imee Marcos ranked 12th among the 12 winning senators in the 2025 Elections. Her senatorial bid was endorsed by Vice Pres. Sara Duterte who campaigned for her, Las Piñas District Representative Camille Villar, and the PDP-Laban bets. Here are the 12 winners of the 2025 Senatorial Elections:

All 11 winning senatorial candidates attended the Proclamation Ceremony held last Saturday at the Manila Hotel Tent City except for reelected Sen. Kiko Pangilinan. He was represented by his sister as he is currently in the United States for the graduation of his daughter with Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
Sen. Marcos was accompanied by her mother, former First Lady Imelda Marcos, and her sons and in-laws at the Proclamation Ceremony. She was the first among the 12 winning senators to climb the stage and be proclaimed.

In her Proclamation Speech, Sen. Imee Marcos did not mention her brother, Pres. Bongbong Marcos, but acknowledged former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. She has always been vocal about her pride over her father’s legacy.
