Brydon Greenhand, a Facebook user, shared a photo of a security guard who ordered rice and soup because he didn’t have enough money. The post elicits reactions from the online community.
Brydon shared a story about a conversation he had with one of his customers in their eatery. According to him, a man stopped by their eatery, and he initially assumed that the man was just there to hang out.
However, during their conversation, Brydon realized that the security personnel was going through a tough time. The guard expressed his disappointment at not receiving his wage on the scheduled pay day.
“Hindi po siya agad bumili. Tinanong ko kung ano sa kanya, ang sabi niya ‘yun nga baka pwedeng kanin lang daw at makihingi na lang ng sabaw para iulam,” Greenhand said.
The generous person saw his customer’s distress and offered to give him some meat in the soup.
“Mahirap walang benta pero mas mahirap ‘yung ‘di ka makakain dahil wala kang pambili,” Brydon added.
