WALANG PASOK – Several local government units announced class suspensions in some areas due to bad weather condition.
Over the previous days, the Philippines is experiencing inclement weather conditions due to various weather systems. The low-pressure areas, northeast monsoon, and shear line lashed the country with heavy rains and strong winds,
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration reported that the weather systems may trigger flooding and landslides in the affected areas.
Luckily, PAGASA announced that no tropical cyclones are expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility until the weekend but a pressure area may form outside the country’s vicinity.
On Friday (January 20, 2023), some local government units declared class suspensions due to bad weather condition. The cancellation of classes has been made to ensure the safety of the school faculties and students.

- Camalig, Albay
- Guinobatan, Albay
- Sto. Domingo, Albay
- Pio Duran, Abay

- Tabac, Albay
- Camarines Norte – all levels (public and private)
- Camarines Sur – all levels (public and private)
- Naga City – preschool to senior high school (public and private)
- Sorsogon City, Sorsogon – all levels (public and private)
