Juliana Gomez Bags Gold In West Java Fencing Challenge In Indonesia

JULIANA GOMEZ – Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres’s only daughter Juliana Gomez bags gold in the West Java fencing challenge in Indonesia.

Celebrity couple and politicians Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres only have one child, Juliana Gomez. Both of her parents are currently working as public servants in the country.

In Ormoc City, Lucy serves as mayor, and Richard is Leyte’s representative. Basketball, fencing, and volleyball are just a few of the sports her father is well-known for dominating. Richard actually won a gold medal in fencing in the 2005 Southeast Asian Games.

Richard Gomez has been president of the Philippine Fencing Association since 2016. Juliana Gomez is following in the footsteps of her father in becoming a skilled fencer. She is a Public Administration student at the University of the Philippines Diliman.

The 22-year-old athlete initially joined the UP Volleyball team before shifting to fencing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Last month. Juliana won an open fencing competition in Thailand.

Her dad wrote in his post, “May you keep on winning and bring more honor to the country.”

In a previous article, Juliana talked about her fencing victory in Thailand. She said she was confident during the competition and it is because she really prepared for it.

Just recently, Juliana won her second international fencing competition of the year. Her dad proudly shared his daughter’s latest gold medal accomplishment.
