Richard Gomez wants his daughter to follow this love advice
Actor-politician Richard Gomez shared the advice the he wants his daughter Juliana Gomez should keep in mind in choosing a boyfriend.
Richard is one of the matinee idols during in the 1980s until the 1990s. With his looks and fit figure, he captured the admiration of many women. In a recent interview on the YouTube channel of talent manager Ogie Diaz, the actor-politician admitted that he was kind of playful when it comes to relationship during his younger years.
Richard also shared that he knew back then that there are girls who are just for fun and there are those who would be taken seriously by men. Going through what he had been in the field of love and relationships, he wants his daughter to be aware of the tricky things.
The actor-politician said that Juliana should not choose someone like him as a boyfriend. “Kung pipili ka ng boyfriend, ‘wag kang pumili ng boyfriend na katulad ni Richard Gomez. Kasi nung bata ‘yun, babaero ‘yun, eh. Malapit yan sa babae. Ma-chicks ‘yun,” he said.
On the other hand, Richard said when it comes to the man who his daughter should marry, he said, “Pero kung mag-aasawa ka na, pumili ka ng lalaki na katulad naman ni Richadrd Gomez. Iba na siya. Matino na. Mas mabait na.”
He pointed out the transition he went through from being playful to a serious man for his partnr. Richard has been married to his wife Lucy Torres for more than two decades now.
The actor-politician also advised his daughter to take it easy. He said that Juliana should not take things seriously for now because she is still young. The celebrity dad also shared that he would talk to suitors of his daughter who would come to their house but not to the extent that he would tell them ”’O wag kang magloloko-loko dito’. Hindi ako ganon.“
When it comes to the interest that her daughter is giving to sports, Richard said that he is not influencing or encouraging her to be in this field. He just let her do the sports she likes.
