Honesty or truthfulness is a facet of moral character that connotes positive and virtuous attributes such as integrity, truthfulness, and straightforwardness, involving being trustworthy, loyal, fair, and sincere.
Honest people usually refuse to lie, cheat, steal and commit mistakes that will destroy another person’s trust. Unfortunately, some people still show dishonesty due to financial problems.
However, there are still some kind-hearted and honest people who choose to do what is right.
The Facebook page Nasugbu, Batangas has shared the video footage of an honest PWD driver who returned a lost wallet. The video immediately circulates online and garnered praise from social media users.
In the video, it can be seen that school personnel is expressing his gratitude towards the public jeepney driver identified as Christian Motos. The driver reportedly returned the wallet accidentally dropped by his passenger inside the jeepney.
The school employee praised the honest driver for turning over the lost wallet although he is a disabled person. The driver did not even try to own the wallet and decided to turn over it so the owner can retrieve it.
