HIDILYN DIAZ – The stunning gold-themed wedding reception of Hidilyn Diaz and Julius Naranjo wowed netizens.
Hidilyn Diaz is a weightlifter who became the first-ever Pinay to win an Olympic gold medal. The Zamboangueña athlete won the prestigious medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Japan for the women’s 55 kg category for weightlifting.
Last October 16, 2021, Diaz accepted the marriage offer of her long-time partner and strength coach Julius Naranjo. She said Naranjo caught her by surprise as she thought they went to Sheraton Manila to go on a triple date with beauty queen Precious Lara Quigaman and actress Iza Calzado.
On July 26, 2022, Hidilyn Diaz and Julius Naranjo tied the knot in a lovely church wedding in Baguio. Diaz was definitely a head-turner on their special day as she walked down the aisle wearing a stunning bridal dress.
The bridal gown of the 31-year-old athlete was designed by renowned Filipino fashion designer Francis Libiran. She also carried a gorgeous wreath of orchids arranged by Gideon Hermosa.

The newlyweds had a stunning gold-themed wedding reception in the cool City of Pines. Nice Print Photography took to Instagram to share a video giving glimpses of the elegant venue.
The couple’s wedding reception was beautifully styled by renowned event designer Gideon Hermosa. It was inspired by Diaz’s win at the 2022 Tokyo Olympics.

Diaz and Naranjo’s honeymoon was also disturbed by the 7.2-magnitude earthquake. The online community were quick to share hilarious posts about the honeymoon of the couple.
