Sandro Marcos on Dad Bongbong Getting COVID Anew: ‘I was a little bit scared’

Sandro Marcos Speaks on Condition of Pres. Bongbong Marcos

SANDRO MARCOS – The Ilocos Norte 1st district Representative admitted that he got a little bit scared when President Bongbong Marcos tested positive for COVID-19 again.

COVID-19 visibly exempts no one – even those who have already won a previous battle against this disease. There is a possibility of re-infection thus all those who are eligible for vaccination are greatly encouraged to get their shots.

A huge part of the Filipino populace has already been vaccinated against COVID-19. The giving of the booster shots is also ongoing but many fully-vaccinated individuals have yet to receive their booster shots.

Ilocos Norte 1st District Representative Sandro Marcos recently expressed encouragement to the Filipinos to get their booster shots. The presidential son admitted that he felt a little bit scared when his father, Pres. Bongbong Marcos, tested positive for COVID-19.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Sandro Marcos admitted that he was scared that this time’s COVID-19 bout of Pres. Bongbong Marcos would end like his first fight against the disease. He was one of the high-profile politicians who contracted the virus during the first few months of the pandemic and it took him several weeks to recover from it.

Meanwhile, according to the presidential son, he has spoken to his father and the President said he is fine. The 64-year-old Chief Executive is quite eager to finish his 7-day quarantine but the Ilocos Norte 1st District Representative is grateful that his father is recovering now and “the symptoms look to be waning”. He credited the vaccines to have taken part in his father’s current COVID-19 bout.

“So I would ask our kababayan, kung pwede lang po kunin na natin ang booster shot natin para naman mapalakas natin ang ating ekonomiya,” the presidential son said.
